The Kidovators Critical Thinking Olympiad 2018 is open for class 5 to 10 students. The Olympiad aims to make students capable of thinking critically by helping them acquire problem-solving and decision-making skills. There will be three rounds of the Olympiad that include Round 1, Regional Finals and Grand Finale. The Olympiad will also provide awards for best schools, best principals and best teachers.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility The eligibility criteria for students depends on the participation round:
- Round 1: Class 5 to 10 students
- Regional Finals: Top 100 students in each class nationally as well as Top 2 best-performing students from each school (from any class)
- Grand Finale: Top 25 performing students in each class from Regional Finals
Benefits Top prizes include:
- Best 21st Century School Award: INR 200,000 and winner trophy
- Best 21st Century School Award: (Runner-up): INR 100,000 and runner-up trophy
- Rising 21st Century Schools: INR 35,000 and trophy
- Best Principal Awards: INR 20,000 and trophy
- Best Teacher Awards: INR 10,000 and trophy
- All India Rank 1: INR 15,000 scholarship and trophy (6 awards)
- All India Rank 2 and 3: Scholarships and trophy (12 awards)
- All India Rank 4–25: Cash prizes and Gold/Silver medal (132 awards)
- Regional finalists (Rank 26–600): Bronze medal and certificate (450 awards)
How can you apply? The application can be done by email or by post with the following steps:
Step 1: Fill in the student registration form. The form can be downloaded here.
Step 2: Fill in the school registration form. The form can be downloaded here.
Step 3: Fill in the school account details in the school registration form.
Step 4: Scan the demand draft (participation fee) and the school registration form.
Step 5: Email the scanned copies and the MS Excel Sheet of student details form.
Step 6: Enclose the demand draft, student registration form and school registration form together and send it via India Speed Post to the given address-The Convener (Kidovators Olympiads),

Important Dates
- The school principals can choose either of the following two dates to conduct Round 1 test at their respective schools:
- Option 1- 10th October 2018
- Option 2- 31st October 2018
- Last date for application submission: 15th September 2018
- Regional Finals: December
- Grand Finale: January
Selection Criteria
The selection of winners will be done purely on the basis of merit in the Olympiad tests.

Terms and Conditions
- The duration of the test will be 60 minutes.
- The medium for the test will be English and the test will be of 50 marks total.
- There is a disparity in the participation fee for a Budget School. But to qualify as a 'Budget School', the school tuition fee should be less than INR 18,000 per annum or INR 1500 per month for at least one of the participating classes.
- For participating in this Olympiad, a minimum of 50 students should be registered from a school.
- The payment of participation fee can only be made through a single demand draft or online transfer.
- The Regional Finals will take place across 6 cities in December. The prospective locations for Regional Finals are Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, New Delhi and Mumbai.
- The Grand Finale will take place in Bengaluru in January.
