About The Program
JNU New Delhi Special Centre for Molecular Medicine (SCMM) Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is an opportunity offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru University to master's degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the DST-SERB-EEQ sponsored project titled - "Uncovering the Novel Oncogenic Role of Thymine DNA Glycosylase Epigenetic Function in Acute Leukaemia is a Potential Therapeutic Target for Acute Leukaemia Treatment". The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a masters's degree in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Zoology/Molecular Medicine with a strong academic record
- Be NET/GATE qualified
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have research experience in the epigenetic and cancer biology field
- Have research experience with handling laboratory animals
- Have an experience in protein expression and purification, cloning, DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, Western Blotting, Spectroscopy, Bioinformatics
