The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is inviting applications from engineers and faculty with a PhD degree in science-related streams for JNCASR Visiting Fellowship 2019-20. The faculty working in Central or State Universities and R&D Laboratories in India can apply for this fellowship. The selected fellows will receive an honorarium of INR 50,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be a faculty or engineer with a PhD degree in science-related streams
- Have a permanent position in Central or State Universities and R&D laboratories in India
Note: The candidates, who have already utilized or applied for this fellowship cannot apply.
Benefits The fellowship is tenable for a minimum period of sixty days and a maximum period of 3 months. The selected fellows will receive an honorarium of INR 50,000 per month.
Documents The applicant needs to submit a certificate from their Head of the parent institute permitting continuous leave for the fellowship duration.

Step 2: Fill in all required details.
Step 3: Send the completed application form along with all supporting documents in a single PDF file via email to fellowships@jncasr.ac.in, AND
Send the hard copy of the completed application to -The Academic Coordinator, JNCASR,
Jakkur, Bangalore - 560064.Note: Clearly mark 'Application for Visiting Fellowship Programme 2019-20' in the subject line of the email and the envelope containing the hard copy of the application.

- The fellowship remains valid for one year from the date of the offer letter.
- The timing of the visit shall be decided as per the mutual convenience.
