To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be applying for any Bachelor degree at JMC Academy
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of commencement
- Have completed senior secondary school with good scores
- Have minimum English language proficiency equivalent to Academic IELTS 6.0 (with no band below 5.5)
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand
- Commence study in the June 2020 intake, and arrive in Australia in time for Orientation (25th May 2020)
Benefits
The selected scholars will receive up to AUD 18,000 over the duration of study, with AUD 3,000 applied to each trimester.
Documents
- Certified and translated (if originals are not in English) copy of high school transcripts showing satisfactory completion of senior secondary school
- A copy of English test score results, evidencing IELTS 6.0 (with no single band below 5.5) or equivalent
- Certified copy of the passport
- Certified copy of current visa, if currently in Australia
- A letter of recommendation from a Career Advisor, High School Principal, High School teacher, employer or a JMC Academy representative student recruitment agent
- Sample of social media posts and/or any public social media handles and one writing sample of maximum 1,000 words

Selection will be based on a combination of academic merit; supporting files and interview with a representative from the International Services team.

Terms and Conditions
- The student will be required to create content for social media and the JMC Academy website. This will include a minimum of 2 social posts a week, one blog post per trimester and live social posting from at least 2 events per trimester.
- The student must pass all units each trimester and satisfy the specific social media content production requirements of the scholarship in order to maintain the scholarship for the following trimester.
- The award is applied to JMC Academy tuition only and may not be redeemed for cash or any other monetary exchange.
- Students are required to pay the remaining tuition amount for each trimester before the commencement of the trimester.
- Students must commence study at JMC Academy in the June 2020 intake. All June 2020 students are required to be in Australia in time for Orientation week, which commences 25th May 2020.
- While students may apply for more than one scholarship stream, they will be selected for one scholarship stream only. No further tuition discounts may apply.
- Scholarships may only be deferred due to special circumstances, such as delay in visa issuance, and in that event only for a period of one trimester.
