Post-Matric Scholarship for Pahari Speaking Students 2018-19, Jammu and Kashmir

To be eligible for this scholarship, the students must-

• Belong to Pahari Speaking People Category
• Be Post Matric Students pursuing diploma, graduation, post-graduation or professional degree in recognized government institution within or outside J&K
• Have an annual family income not more than INR 2.5 lakhs

The scholarship includes:

• Maintenance allowance
• Reimbursement of non-refundable fees paid by the students

• One passport size photograph
• Permanent residence certificate (state subject certificate)
• Fee receipt
• Duly attested, promotion certificate, in case the student has passed the previous examination
• Institute recognition certificate
• Attested fee structure duly approved by the central/state government
• Income certificate
• Valid Pahari Speaking Category Certificate verified by Tehsildar
• Aadhaar number along with Xerox of Aadhaar card pre-linked with a bank account for the easier transfer of scholarship
• Affidavit (Format is given here)

Follow the steps below to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Visit the website and register as a citizen.
Step 2: After registration, the candidates need to select the e-services tab and click on Pahari Speaking Board.
Step 3: Click on the Post-Matric Scholarship and complete the application form.
Step 4: Submit the application and print take a print out of the same.
Step 5: Submit the application to the concerned college/university.
Step 6: Students pursuing studies outside the state need to submit the application at the following address:

Note: The college will send the hard copies to the State Advisory board of Pahari Speaking People for further verification.
