About The Program

JHALSA Internship Programme 2026 is offered by the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority. The internship is a valuable opportunity designed to provide practical legal services experience to law students pursuing either a three-year LL.B. Course or a five-year Integrated Law Course from any recognised University, College, or Institution. Selected candidates will receive variable benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-

  • be a law student pursuing either a three-year LL.B. Course or a five-year Integrated Law Course
  • be enrolled in any recognised University, College, or Institution
  • be available for one month for an internship

Note: Preference shall be given to students studying in their senior year. Selection of interns shall be made based on individual merit.

Benefits

The selected students will receive practical legal services experience for one month (four weeks).

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resume
  • Expression of Interest - a one-page (or shorter) 
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the appropriate authority (such as the Dean, Head of Department, Internship & Placement Committee, or any other competent authority), clearly mentioning the name and semester/year of the course being pursued.
