Jawaharlal Nehru University School of Life Sciences Research Associateship 2021 is an opportunity to Ph.D. degree holders. The associateship is meant for the ICMR funded project titled, "National Centre for Screening of Natural Products for Parasitic diseases”. The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 47,000 per month.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in any branch of Biological Sciences with at least one first-author paper
Desirable Qualifications -
For First Position -
- Have experience in Protein Purification Techniques, Basic Molecular/cell biology techniques, and animal cell culture
- Have Experience in molecular modeling and optimization of compound series via structure-based drug design
For Second Position -
- Be proficient in the following genetic engineering-based recombinant DNA technologies such as Bioinformatics, Molecular biological, Functional complementation assays in gene-knockout strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Genetic manipulation (genome editing) in the protozoan parasites: Leishmania donovani and Plasmodium falciparum and Biophysical techniques including Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC), Fluorescence spectroscopy, Circular Dichroism (CD), Time-Resolved Fluorescence Spectrometry (TRFS), Raman spectrometry, and Capillary electrophoresis
Benefits The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of INR 47,000 per month.
