Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Fellowships 2018 invites applications from PhD and Postgraduates. The fellowship aims to provide remuneration up to INR 60,000 per month & a contingency of INR 50,000 per year to PhD scholars and a remuneration up to INR 35,000 per month along with a contingency of INR 25,000 per year to Postdoctoral applicants to carry out research work.

- An applicant must have a PhD degree from a recognized university in the discipline relevant to research activities of Jamia Hamdard.
- The applicant must have a postgraduate degree in the first division having scored 60% marks or equivalent grade.
- The applicant must have published at least three research papers with first/co-first authorship in SCI/SSCI –indexed journal.
- Applicants must have received the PhD degree more than two years before the application deadline.
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowship
- An applicant must have a first division postgraduate degree with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
- The candidate should have qualified NET-JRF/LS or equivalent test after postgraduation or have qualified GATE, GPAT with 90 or above percentile.
Benefits Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Post-Doctoral Fellowship
- The selected candidates will get a remuneration of INR 60,000 per month along with a contingency of INR 50,000 per year.
Jamia Hamdard Silver Jubilee Research Fellowships
- The selected candidates will get a remuneration of INR 35,000 per month along with a contingency of INR 25,000 per year.

Important Dates
Application Deadline: June 30, 2018
Intimation to short-listed candidates: On or before July 20, 2018
Interview/Interaction Schedule: On or before August 01, 2018.
Selection Criteria
The University will short-list candidates on the basis of submitted applications. The short-listed candidates will be called in for an interview/interaction for final selection.

- The fellowships will be awarded on the competitive basis.
- In case any of the fellows had to leave the fellowship before completion of one year then he/she is required to refund the entire amount of fellowship and contingency to the University.
- The University can receive applications through nominations from the Vice Chancellors of other Universities, renowned scientists, Heads of the reputed Organizations/Institutes and other stakeholders.
- The university has a complete right on the number of fellowships to be granted.
