About The Program
Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevana Scheme 2023 is an opportunity offered by the Social Welfare Department, Government of India. The scholarship scheme aims to provide financial assistance to students belonging to SC/ST/BC/Minority/EBC including Kapu students to pursue PG/Ph.D/MBBS courses in the top 200 foreign universities. Selected candidates will receive up to a 100% tuition waiver.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be a domicile of Andhra Pradesh
- be not more than 35 years old as of 10th June 2023
- have a valid visa/passport
- have an annual family income of less than INR 8,00,000
- have scored 60% aggregate marks in foundation Degree in Engineering/Management/Pure Sciences/Medicine/Social Sciences/Humanities for Post Graduate courses OR
- have scored 60% aggregate marks in the P.G course in Engineering/Management/Pure Sciences/Medicine/Social Sciences/Humanities for Ph.D course OR
- 60% aggregate marks in an intermediate or equivalent course for MBBS courses
- have a valid score in TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/GMAT
- have obtained admission to any of the top 200 foreign universities ranked by QS world university ranking
Benefits
Selected candidates will receive the following benefits -
- Selected candidates who will get admission to the top 100 institutions/universities will be receiving a 100% of tuition fee waiver.
- Candidates who will get admission to the 101 and 200 ranked institutions/universities* will be receiving a 50% of tuition fee waiver or INR 50,00,000.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the position using the steps listed below-
Step 1: Click the ‘Apply Now’ button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using the registered email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevana' and click on the 'About Scheme' tab.
Step 4: Scroll down to the 'Registration' option and click on 'Click Here'.
Step 5: Select the 'New Student, Please register' link and check the relevant boxes.
Step 6: Now, fill in the required information and complete the registration process.
Step 7: An OTP will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number which needs to be filled in the required box.
Step 8: After successfully registering, fill in the application form that will appear on the screen with the necessary information to complete the application.

- Candidates are required to join the universities within 6 months of the communication of selection under the scheme.
- Candidates changing their course of study for which they have been granted the scholarship will no longer receive the scholarship.
