About The Program

University of Alberta, Canada invites applications for Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Scholarship 2020 from graduate students. The scholarship aims to reward international students taking admission to the university. Selected students will receive CAD 35,000 per year and a research grant of CAD 2,000 (one-time).

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be an international student
  • Be registered or admissible to a full-time doctoral program
  • Have completed at least one year of graduate work (master or doctoral level)
  • Have an intellect complemented by a sound character 
Benefits

The selected scholars will get the following benefits:

  • CAD 35,000 per year for up to 2 years
  • A one-time research grant of CAD 2,000

Terms and Conditions
  • Continuation of the scholarship for the second year is subject to review after the first year.
