Any high-School, college or university student can apply for this contest.
Benefits
- The winner will receive a scholarship prize of USD 1,000 along with a certificate from IvyPanda.com.
- Runner-up will receive a scholarship prize of USD 500 along with a certificate from IvyPanda.com.
- The best videos will be published on IvyPanda’s YouTube channel.
- On every 1,000 views on any given participant video, IvyPanda will plant a tree.

The winners will be required to send us proof of their academic status or enrollment.
How can you apply?
Step 1: Applicant needs to record an original video on one of the topics mentioned below:
- How to Overcome Loss Of Study Motivation: Your Personal Lifehacks
- How to Maintain a Good Study-Life Balance: Your Recommendations
- Your Tips And Tricks To Reduce Homesickness for Both Domestic and International Students.
Step 2: Now, upload the video to one of these file-hosting services: Dropbox, Google Drive, Streamable, or WeTransfer.
Step 3: Then, the applicant needs to subscribe to the IvyPanda YouTube channel; like and share the Contest video-description on Google+, Twitter, or Facebook; and take a screenshot of his/her subscription.
Step 4: Finally, the applicant has to send an email to scholarship@ivypanda.com or a message on Facebook containing the following:
- The direct link of the applicant's uploaded video
- The screenshot of the applicant's subscription to IvyPanda’s Youtube channel
- The screenshot of the Contest video-description shared on social media

Selection Criteria
The winners will be judged on the following criteria:
- Content Quality: 30 points will be awarded to the video on the basis of accuracy and useful information.
- Engagement: 30 points will be given if the video is attention-grabbing, engaging, and fun.
- Creativity: 20 points is for the author’s own creative ideas.
- Production: 20 points is for overall high quality and clear presentation of the material (including visual and sound elements).
Terms and Conditions
- Plagiarism in any form is not allowed.
- By submitting the application, the applicant confirms that he/she understands the contest rules and criteria and agrees to accept the decision of the judges. The applicant agrees to allow IvyPanda to edit, upload for public access, share, and use of video in other ways at their discretion.
- The applicant's video must cover one of the given topics and should be in English language only.
- Submitted video should be 1 - 1:30 minutes of duration and must be submitted in MOV, MPEG4, MP4, AVI formats only.
