About The Program
IUCAA Pune Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune to Ph.D. degree holders. The position is funded by the CEFIPRA Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research project entitled - "Resolving the Impact of AGN Feedback on Gas and Star Formation Through Simulations and Observations". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of up to INR 54,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics or a related discipline
- Have experience in numerical simulations
Benefits
The net salary is INR 47,000 (with additional housing rent allowance), which can be incremented to INR 49,000 and INR 54,000 in the second and third year.
Note - Funding to allow travel to France to collaborate with Dr. Nesvadba will be available.
