Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) invites applications for IRMA Research Associate and Research Fellowship 2020 from postgraduate in Economics students. The position is open at Verghese Kurien Policy Lab (VKPL) at IRMA. The selected research associates will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 36,000 per month whereas the research fellows will receive INR 46,000 per month.

For Research Fellowship:
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics (including applied, agricultural, and mathematic economics), statistics, public policy, or other relevant social science fields with a strong quantitative focus
- Have intermediate-level of knowledge of evidence-based policy analysis and evaluation
- Have advance knowledge of statistical software packages (STATA or R)
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Have at least two years of work experience beyond post-graduate studies in relevant fields
For Research Associates:
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics (including applied, agricultural, and mathematic economics), statistics, public policy, or other relevant social science fields with a strong quantitative focus
- Have basic econometric skills
- Have introductory knowledge of statistical software packages (STATA or R)
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Have preferably less than two years of work experience beyond post-graduate studies in relevant field
Benefits The selected Research Associates will receive consolidated remuneration of INR 36,000 per month and the Research Fellows will receive INR 46,000 per month.

- The Research Associate will work on econometric aspects of program evaluation.
- The Research Fellow will provide support to various research activities of the lab that include writing research grants, design and manage the implementation of field experiments and surveys and much more.
