About The Program

Internshala invites applications for Internshala Career Scholarship for Girls 2020 from girls between 17 and 23 years of age. The scholarship aims to advance one girl’s career in her chosen field by offering her the financial award. Selected girl candidate will get INR 25,000 as a one-time reward.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Be an Indian citizen
  • Be a girl candidate
  • Be between 17 and 23 years of age (as of 31st December 2019), i.e. born between 1st January 1996 and 31st December 2002
  • Have a sound career objective
Benefits

INR 25,000 as a one-time reward will be given to selected scholar.

Selection Criteria

Selection of the eligible girl candidate will be done in three stages based on the following criteria -

  • An element of fighting against odds
  • An element of achievement
  • An element of purpose
  • An element of need

The three stages of selection involve -

  • Online form submission
  • Telephonic interview
  • Referee check
Terms and Conditions
  • The scholarship is meant to recognize a girl who has fought against odds to pursue a career of her dreams in any field (Academics, Sports, Arts, etc.).
  • The amount of the scholarship will be paid directly towards the cause at the time of need through the referee.
