About The Program
INMAS-DRDO Research Associateship/Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is an initiative by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier Institute of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for postgraduate or graduate/Ph.D. degree holders. This aims to provide an opportunity to young and meritorious Indian nationals, who desire to pursue defence-related research The selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of INR 31,000 plus HRA as per DRDO rules (for Junior Research Fellowship) and INR 54,000 per month plus HRA as per DRDO rules (for Research Associateship).

To be eligible, an applicant must -
For Research Associateship -
- Be below 35 years of age
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences (Note - Only those candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree/provisional certificate are eligible to apply.)
For Junior Research Fellowship -
- Be below 28 years of age
- Hold a first-class M.Sc. degree with NET (JRF/LS) in Computer Science/Electronics/Mechatronics, OR
- Hold a first-class B.Tech degree with valid GATE qualification in Computer Science/Electronics/Mechatronics, OR
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Mechatronics in first class at Graduate and Postgraduate level (Note - M.E./M.Tech. degree is exempted from NET/GATE as per guidelines.)

Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend as follow -

Terms and Conditions
- The upper age limit will be relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST (5 years) and OBC (3 years).
- Antecedents of the candidate will be verified again at the time of joining if selected.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending an interview or for joining if selected.
- The number of vacancies will change as per organizational requirements.
- It must be noted that the offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right of absorption in DRDO.
- Latecomers will not be allowed at any cost.
- Written Tests can be conducted for JRFs from 09:30-103:0 HRs. (depending on the number of candidates appearing on the date of interview) and only qualified candidates will be interviewed on the same day.
- Candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/testimonials w.r.t. qualifications & experience, for verification at the time of interview.
- Candidates presently employed in Government Departments/PSU's/ Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC at the time of interview.
- Electronic items like smart/mobile phones/pen drive/laptop/CD-ROM etc. are not allowed inside INMAS Campus.
