About The Program

INMAS-DRDO Apprenticeship for Graduates/Diploma Holders, Delhi 2024-25 is an opportunity offered by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence to graduates/diploma holders in Engineering and other specified subjects. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₹9,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must:- 

  • hold a diploma in one of the following disciplines:- 
    • Computer Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Modern Office Practice (English and Hindi)/Office Management
    • L.I.Sc. (Library science)
  • hold a graduate degree in one of the following disciplines:- 
    • B.L.I.Sc. (Library Science)
    • B. Pharma
    • B.Sc. (Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics)

Note:-

  • Only fresh pass-out candidates who have passed their respective courses in the year 2020 or later are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who passed the qualifying examination before 2020 and those with a post-graduation degree are not eligible to apply.
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive monthly awards of ₹8,000 for diploma apprentices and ₹9,000 for graduate apprentices.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the apprenticeship using the below-mentioned steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
Step 3: Click on the 'Enroll' tab.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, and click on the 'Submit' tab to end the enrollment procedure on the National Web Portal.
Step 5: After successful registration, click on the 'Login' tab. (Note - If already registered, kindly log in with valid credentials.)
Step 6: Log in using the username and password.
Step 7: Search for Establishment - (INMAS/ INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE AND ALLIED SCIENCES) user ID NDLNOC000005' and complete the apprenticeship application to apply.

Note:- For non-technical/non-engineering subjects, candidates can send their application by email directly to: 'hrd.inmas@gov.in'. The application format in the 'Application Form Download' document must be followed.

Candidates must be registered on www.mhrdnats.gov.in.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected by a board appointed by the Director of INMAS. The board will review the applications based on eligibility criteria and merit.

Terms and Conditions
  • No accommodation or transportation will be provided to the candidates.
  • Selected candidates will not receive travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) upon joining.
  • Graduate or diploma holders with one year or more of training or job experience after obtaining their qualification are not eligible for apprenticeship under the act.
  • Selected candidates must sign a contract for a year of training under the terms of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the regulations outlined therein.
  • Apprentices are not guaranteed a job offer from the institute after completing their apprenticeship program.
  • The Director of INMAS reserves the right to modify the number of available apprenticeship training seats or withdraw/cancel the process at any time without prior notice.
  • Any candidate engaging in canvassing, suppressing facts, or personally following up to influence the apprentice selection process will be immediately disqualified.
