About The Program

Industry Internship Programme, Government of Kerala 2022 is an opportunity offered to B.Tech. or MBA degree holders by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala. The aim of the scheme is to recruit interns in all Grama Panchayats, Municipalities, and Municipal Corporations to promote the micro, small and medium industries at the local level. The candidates will receive a remuneration of INR 20,000 per month.

To be eligible, the applicant must - 

  • Be below 18 to 30 years of age as on 1st February 2022
  • Hold a B.Tech. or MBA degree

The selected candidates will receive a remuneration of INR 20,000 per month.

Documents
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Passport size photograph (taken within six months)
  • Signature and copies of certificates proving qualification and experience while submitting the application

 

Note - 

  • The CV and the copies of certificates must be either in JPEG format or in PDF format and each attachment must not exceed 3 MB in size.
  • The photograph and signature must be in JPEG format and the size of the photograph must be less than 200 KB and the size of the signature should be less than 50 KB.

  • Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
  • The candidates having the required qualifications need only apply.
  • The performance of the selected candidates will be evaluated monthly based on metrics decided by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce.
  • Applications sent by post or email to any office under the Directorate of Industries and Commerce will not be considered for the recruitment process.
  • The selection process will be conducted district wise and candidates must apply for only one district for an appointment.
  • The Directorate of Industries and Commerce has the right to decide whether the written test is needed or not, based on the number of applications received in the district against the vacancy in the district.
  • The selected interns will have to sign an agreement with the Director of Industries and Commerce.
  • The Director of the Directorate of Industries and Commerce reserves the right to cancel the notification at any stage.
  • No change of application data will be permitted at any stage after completion of the registration process of the online application. Merely applying for the post and being shortlisted in the subsequent processes does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be offered employment. No request for considering the candidature under any category/post other than the one in which applied will be entertained.
  • Educational qualifications should be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
  • The candidate must possess a valid Degree/PG Certificate/Provisional Certificate of the necessary qualification at the time of submission of application.
  • Applications sent by post or email to any office under the Directorate of Industries and Commerce will not be considered for the recruitment process.
