Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and Indo-U.S. Science & Technology Forum (IUSSTF) togetherly invites applications for Indo-U.S. Fellowship for Women in STEMM 2018 from the female applicant studying/having Ph.D. degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine.The duration of this fellowship is three to six months and the objective is to give opportunities to Indian female researchers to improve their research potential and capabilities.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility There will be two modules within this program;
- Women Overseas Student Internship program module.
- Women Overseas Fellowship program module.
Eligibility for Women Overseas Student Internship program module:
In order to be eligible for this program, an applicant must:- Be a female applicant studying full-time Ph.D. degree in Basic Sciences, Medical Sciences (M.D/M.S.), Engineering or Technology including Agricultural at any recognized academic institution/R&D institute/university in India.
- Be of 21 to 35 years of age as on 28 Feb 2018.
Note: The unemployed female applicants having Ph.D./M.S./M.D. will also be eligible to apply.
Eligibility for Women Overseas Fellowship program module :
In order to be eligible for this program, an applicant must:
- Be a female applicant holding a Ph.D. degree in Basic Sciences, Medical Sciences (M.D/M.S.), Engineering or Technology including Agricultural.
- Have a regular position at any recognized academic intitution/university/R&D institute/college in India.
- Be of 27 to 50 years of age as on 28 Feb 2018.

Step 3: Login registered email id and click on that link.
Step 4: Go to the homepage and select Indian Applicants.
Step 5: Choose the given program and click on Start application.
Step 6: Complete the application form.

Award details:
For Women Overseas Student Internship program module, the fellowship will cover:
- Monthly stipend of USD 2,500
- Health Insurance of up to USD 500
- Air Fare up to USD 2,500
- Contingency up to USD 750
For Women Overseas Fellowship program module, the fellowship will cover:
- Monthly stipend of USD 3,000
- Air Fare up to USD 2,500
- Health Insurance of up to USD 1000
- Contingency up to USD 750
- Conference Allowances of up to USD 1,000
