About The Program

IndianOil - Deakin University, Australia Research Fellowship 2018 has been introduced by the collaboration of Deakin University with the Indian Oil Corporation. Under this fellowship, candidates will get an opportunity to travel Australia for a period of 6 months during the program duration of 4 years.

EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
  • Candidate must hold a master’s degree from a recognised university in India in Chemistry (Organic/ Inorganic/ Physical/ Analytical) for Lubricant Technology area; in Mechanical Engineering or Tribology for Tribology area; in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Microbiology for Biotechnology area.
  • All the requirements for the fulfilment of the award of master's degree must be completed by 31 July 2017, including master's thesis.
  • Candidate must have obtained 65% and above in the final exams or equivalent CGPA in Graduation and Postgraduation.
  • Valid CSIR/UGC  NET-JFR qualification in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Microbiology is required.
  • Candidate will not be able to avail the CSIR/UGC fellowships if they apply for this scholarship. 
  • Candidate with English proficiency scores will be preferred.
  • The age of the candidate shall not be more than 28 years as on 30 April 2017. 5 years relaxation is applicable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH and female students.
