About The Program

Indian Oil provides financial support to 2600 students of schools / colleges / Institutions / universities recognized by MCI / AICTE / State Education Boards / State Govt. / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Central Govt. / Association of Indian universities.

  • Students must be enrolled in Schools / Colleges / Institutions recognized by MCI / AICTE / State Education Boards/State Technical Education Boards / ICSE / ISC / CBSE
  • Students must be pursuing these courses on full time or regular basis
  • Students can apply for IndianOil Merit Scholarships Scheme in Class 11th or 1st year of 2 years ITI course
  • Students can apply for IndianOil Scholarships Scheme during 1st year of MBA/MBBS/engineering
  • Gross Joint family annual income should not exceed INR 1,00,000; however, preference will be given to candidates whose Gross Joint family annual income is below INR 60,000
  • Age limit for availing the scholarship is between 15 to 30 years. Age relaxation up to 3 years for OBC candidates, for 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) is permissible
  • Reservation will be as per norms of central government
How can you apply?

Step 1- The application can be done online only

Step 2- After registering and completing the application form, a registration number is generated, which should be used for further correspondence

Step 3- The printout of the completed application form duly signed along with all the required documents must be sent by registered or speed post to:

Terms and Conditions

Criteria for selection:

  • Shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks obtained
  • Normalization will be done for different state/ education boards
  • Minimum qualifying marks for students under various categories are
    • General- 65%
    • SC/ST/OBC/ Girls- 55%
    • PWDs- 50%

Scholarship holders under this scheme should not avail scholarship under any other scheme

Children of the IOCL employees, its Joint Venture and Subsidiary companies and Consultant managing the Scheme are not eligible to apply
