About The Program

India Alliance Clinical and Public Health Research Fellowships 2023 is an opportunity offered by the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance (public charity) to health researchers with MD/MS/MPH or equivalent clinical /public health degree. The CPH Fellowship competition is accepted under the following three categories:

  • Early Career Fellowship
  • Intermediate Fellowship
  • Research Training Fellowship (RTF) for clinicians

The selected candidates will receive up to INR 19,50,000 per annum and other benefits.

To be eligible, an applicant must –

  • be a clinician and public health researcher with MD/MS/MPH or equivalent clinical/public health degree
  • have 0-15 years of research experience post-qualifying degree (Note - Applicants in their final year of degree may also apply)

 

Note -

  • There are no age or nationality restrictions.
  • Clinicians and public health researchers do not require a Ph.D. degree to apply.
  • The candidate is not required to be an Indian resident while applying but should be willing to establish an independent research career in India.

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1:

Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Application Process’ section at the bottom of the page and click on the ‘India Alliance online application System (IASys)’ link.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Register’ tab and fill in all the required information. (Note - If the applicant is already registered, kindly log in using the valid credentials)
Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the required details and submit.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be shortlisted based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
