• Applicant should be an Indian citizen. 
• Applicant should hold a postgraduate degree in humanities. 
• Applicant should be above the age of 18 years at the time of submission of application. 

Ila Dalmia FICA Research Grant 2018 provides INR 2 lakhs for independent, year-long research on Indian modern and contemporary art.

• Research proposal  of maximum 2000 words
• Bibliography for research (including photos and videos)
• Updated CV
• Samples of published papers (2)
• Names of two Referees with their complete contact details – name, position, organisation, telephone, email and postal address
• Complete budget towards which grant amount would be spent
