About The Program

IIT Tirupati Graduates/Diploma Apprenticeship Training Program 2025 is an initiative by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati. This apprenticeship is conducted under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, Government of India.

IIT has organised this apprenticeship program for graduates and diploma holders hailing from India who completed their certification or undergraduate during the years 2020, 2021, 2022,2023, and 2024. The selected students will receive a stipend of up to ₹20,000 for 1 year.

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • be an Indian national 
  • be qualified from Indian Institutions recognised by Appropriate Statutory Authority
  • be a graduate or a diploma holder in the field of science (B.Tech, Computer Science, B.E. and others) 
  • be above 18 years of age 
  • not have more than one year of work experience 

Note:- Candidates who have already undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training in any organisation are not eligible to apply.

Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the following benefits:  

Particulars Stipend per month 
Graduate  ₹20,000
Diploma ₹18,000

Note:- No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of the selection process.

  • Class 10 or graduation marksheet 
  • Degree/Provisional Degree/Diploma/ITI certificate
  • Aadhaar card
  • Any government-issued photo ID (PAN card, voter card, driving license)
  • Copy of your bank passbook
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • EWS certificate (if applicable)
  • PWD certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical fitness certificate from a civil surgeon or equivalent
  • Two passport-size photographs
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘HOW TO APPLY’ section and click on the ‘Click Here’ link. 
Step 4: Fill in the details in the Apprenticeship Training Form. 
Step 5: Upload the required documents along with the online application form. 
Step 6: Click on the ‘Submit’ button. 

Note:- 

  • Do not send more than one application for one position.
  • Candidates will be informed through E-mail only.

  • Selected candidates will be required to work in flexible shifts. 
  • The company may not provide a transportation facility. 
  • IIT Tirupati reserves all the rights to withdraw or cancel the advertisement/selection process if required.
  • The number of apprentices may be changed at a later stage depending on the final assessment of eligible applications received. 
  • Incorrect details will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process or during the training period.
