About The Program
IIT Tirupati Department of Physics Chanakya Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Development of A Deterministic Single-Photon Source for Quantum Networking Applications". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 80,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Be 36 years of age (relaxed for exceptional candidates)
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Physics/Electronics/Instrumentation/Optical Engineering/Optics/Laser Spectroscopy/Photonics or other related areas
- Have submitted/defended their Ph.D. thesis
- Have experience in programming with Python/Matlab/Mathematica/VHDL/Verilog/LabVIEW/SolidWorks/COMSOL/ANSYS/Digital & Analog Electronics/Optics/Fabrication
- Have good oral and written communication skills
