About The Program
IIT Tirupati Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Development of Mechanical and Microstructural Behaviour of Laser-Based Direct Energy Deposited and Wire Arc Additive Manufactured Ti-6Al-4V Components". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus 8% HRA as JRF for two years and INR 35,000 per month plus 8% HRA for the third year as SRF.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks with a valid GATE score OR
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering/Material and Metallurgical Engineering/Material Science Engineering or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks
