About The Program
IIT Ropar TBRL-DRDO Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Modeling of Atmospheric Reactions by Quantum Dynamics on the Coupled Potential Energy Surfaces". The candidate will receive a fellowship as per DST and Institute rules.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Chemical Physics/Physics with a good academic record
- Have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST) in the Master's
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of Unix, Fortran/C programming, Python, Gaussian, Molpro, Jupyter notebook, etc and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
