IIT Ropar Department of Physics Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar to master's or M. Tech. degree holders. The fellowship requires the fellows to work on the project titled - “Nanophotonic Control on the Emission Properties of Colour Centres in Nanodiamonds for Quantum Optical Applications". The project involves the experimental studies of the spontaneous emission from nitrogen-vacancy centers (NV), modified using nanophotonics structures. The selected fellows will receive a fellowship as per DST rules.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a master's degree in Physics or equivalent or M.Tech. degree in a relevant area with a minimum 60% mark with a good academic grade throughout, and a strong commitment to pursue research
- Have a valid CSIR-UGC (NET or JRF) or a valid GATE score
Benefits The selected fellows will receive a fellowship as per DST rules.

- The position is temporary and will be renewed every year subject to satisfactory performance.
