About The Program
IIT Roorkee Summer Internships Program 2023 is an opportunity offered by IIT Roorkie to students who have completed at least two semesters of the undergraduate degree (B.Arch./B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc/MA) in a relevant discipline from any institute in India. The selected interns will receive a weekly stipend of INR 2,500.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- have completed at least two semesters of the undergraduate degree (B.Arch./B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc/MA) from any institute in India
- have secured minimum CGPA criteria as follows –
- CGPA > 7.5 for IITs/IISc
- CGPA > 8.0 for NITs/ IISERs/ NISER/IIEST/UM-DAECBS
- CGPA > 8.5 for students of other institutes
Benefits
The selected interns will receive a weekly stipend of INR 2,500 along with a certificate of completion from the institute. The certificate will be by the name of the intern and mentor, signed by Dean, SRIC.

How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the internship by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id)
Step 3: Navigate to ‘Apply' and click on it.
Step 4: Navigate to 'Sign Up' at the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in all the necessary details to register. (Note - If already registered, log in using valid credentials)
Step 5: After successful registration, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.

Terms and Conditions
- Applications need to be submitted through an online portal.
- Applicants need to mention the names of five faculty members of their choice from the list of faculty members interested in having a summer intern.
- All interns will be issued a temporary institute ID to avail the library, sports, medical, computer centre, internet, and other institute and departmental research and recreation facilities.
- The applicants will be required to abide by the conduct rules of the institute, failing which the internship will be terminated and the intern will be asked to leave.
