About The Program
Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee is inviting applications for IIT Roorkee Department of Computer Science and Engineering Post Doctoral Fellowship 2020 from PhD degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, “Emotion enabled sign language recognition using multiple sensors”. The selected fellows will receive INR 55,000 per month for first two years and INR 60,000 per month for the third year (if extended).

To be eligible, an applicant must-
- Have a good publication record in Image Processing/Computer Vision/Pattern Recognition/Machine Learning
- Hold a PhD in one of these research areas (Image Processing/Computer Vision/Pattern Recognition/Machine Learning)
- Have knowledge of traditional and deep feature extraction for machine learning and good background knowledge in signal processing
Candidates who have recently submitted their doctoral thesis are also eligible
