About The Program
IIT Roorkee Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering (DBSBE) Post Doctoral Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Development of a Membrane-based Kit to Detect Ll Retrotransposon Activity in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC)". The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 55,000 per month for the first and second years INR 60,000 per month for the third year and a contingency of INR 50,000 per annum.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, and related biology discipline from a premier institute/university with an excellent academic record
- Have a minimum of one first-author publication in a reputed journal from PhD work and be highly skilled in Molecular Biology and Animal Cell Culture work
- Have hands-on experience in polyclonal antibody generation in mice
NOTE: The candidate who has recently submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of award of Ph.D. degree at the time of interview.
