About The Program
IIT Roorkee Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering Post Doctoral Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Detection and Control of Bacterial Pathogens in Poultry by Developing Chemical Genomics Strategies to Combat Multiple Antibiotic Resistance”. The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 55,000 per month for the first & second year and a contingency grant of INR 50,000 per annum.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry or Microbiology with first-class in the preceding degree
Desirable Qualifications:
The candidate must have -
- A minimum of 2 years of experience/specialization in Molecular Biology/Genetic Engineering/Nanotechnology/Biosensor development
- At least two high-impact publications (ISI IF of >5) or patents
