About The Program
IIT Roorkee Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation and Management Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - “Assessment of Climate Change-induced Variation in Bacterial Diversity and Antibiotic Resistome Around Rispana River, Uttarakhand". The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 55,000 per month and a contingency grant of INR 50,000 per annum.

To be eligible, an applicant must -

Hold a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with a special emphasis related to areas of the project titled above with first class in the preceding degree
Desirable Qualification-

Have recently submitted the doctoral thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they will furnish the proof of award of Ph.D. degree at the time of interview

Have 2 Years of experience/specialization in molecular Biology/Genetic Engineering/Molecular Microbiology with basic knowledge of climate change
