About The Program
IIT Patna Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.Sc. degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on a project entitled - "Robust and Reliability-Based Design Optimization and Performance Assessment of Superelastic Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) Damper for Seismic Vibration Control of Structures". The candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of INR 31,000 per month plus HRA as per the GoI rule.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- No exceed 35 years of age
- Hold an M.Tech. degree in Structural Engineering or in similar specializations such as earthquake engineering, structural dynamics, etc.
- Be GATE qualified
- Have a strong background in MATLAB, Python, ABAQUS, SAP2000, etc.
- Have previous experience of doing research work, preferably have a publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Have good proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
Desirable Qualification -
- Have M.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering (or in relevant area) degree with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 % of marks
Note - Preference shall be given to GATE (in CE) qualified candidates interested to pursue a Ph.D. degree.
