About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad invites applications for the IIT Palakkad Department of Mechanical Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from BTech/MTech degree holders. Selected fellows will get consolidated remuneration of INR 31,000 per month plus 8% HRA.
EligibilityDeadline Date: Closed
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be GATE or CSIR-NET or UGC-NET qualified with BTech (with preferably 2 years of experience) or M.Tech in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
Having at least one publication in a reputed journal/conference in the area of contact mechanics/solid mechanics/thermal contact conductance modelling/experiments is preferred.

Selected fellows will get consolidated remuneration of INR 31,000 per month plus 8% HRA.

- The duration of the fellowship is initially for two years with the possibility of extension for another tenure depending on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
