About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Madras invites applications for the IIT Madras Department of Ocean Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from B.Tech or M.Tech degree holders. The fellowship is a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow under the project titled “Data-Driven Control for Marine Vehicle Maneuvering". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must:
- Hold a B.Tech or M.tech degree in Ocean Engineering, or allied disciplines, with a minimum of 75% marks in the preceding exam
- Be scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR- UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
