About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology Madras invites applications for IIT Madras Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from postgraduate degree holders. The research fellow shall work on a temporary post under the project titled "Hierarchically Designed Electrodes of Air Breathing Zinc-ion Batteries". The selected fellows shall receive a stipend of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Basic Science or graduate/post-graduate degree in the professional course selected through one of the following processes -
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
- The selection process through national level examinations conducted by the central government departments and their agencies and
institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 31,000 per month.
