About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for IIT Kharagpur School of Water Resources Junior/Senior Research Fellowship 2020 from MTech/ME degree holders. The fellows are required to work on the project titled, "Operational Coastal Flood Management through Short-to-Medium Range (Real-time) Flood Vulnerability Mapping in the Brahmani-Baitarani River Basin Integrating Human and Climate-Induced Impacts(OFM)". The selected fellows will receive a stipend of up to INR 35,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
JRF Qualifications-
- Be below 35 years of age
- Hold an MTech/ME degree in Water Resources, Hydrology, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Land and Water Engineering, or Hydroinformatics with 80% marks
SRF Qualifications-
- Same as above with two years of research experience
Benefits
The selected fellows will receive a stipend of up to INR 31,000 per month (for JRF) and up to INR 35,000 per month (for SRF).
