About The Program
IIT Kharagpur School of Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./ M.Tech./MS degree holders. The candidate is required to work on the project titled, "Development of Bio-Mimetic Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (BAUV) for Maritime Surveillance (Phase I)(MVS)". The selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 28 years of age
- Hold a B. Tech. degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture/Mechanical/ Production/Industrial/ Aerospace Engineering/Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) and M. Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture/Mechanical (Design, Dynamics and Control Systems)/Mechatronics/ Aerospace Engineering/Instrumentation/Electrical (Control Systems)/Robotics (For JRF 1)
- Hold a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering/ with Robotics or Mechatronics specialization/Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture/Aerospace Engineering (Control Systems) OR
- Hold an M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Design, Dynamics and Control Systems)/Electrical (Control Systems)/Instrumentation Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture/ Mechatronics/Aerospace Engineering/ Robotics (For JRF 2)
- Have a valid GATE/NET score
- Have a good academic track record with all through first class and at least 60% marks
