About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for the IIT Kharagpur School of Civil Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 from B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/ME degree holders. The candidate is required to work on the project titled, "Design of Stone Column-Improved Soft Ground Considering Clogging Effect based on Long-Term Field Study(SCF)". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 28 years of age
- Hold a B.Tech/BE degree in Civil Engineering
- Hold an M.Tech/ME degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Have >= 75% marks/8.0 CGPA in M.Tech, B. Tech, X, XII
- Be GATE qualified
- Perform numerical analysis and experiments related to the project topic

- Relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicant.
