About The Program
IIT Kharagpur School of Agricultural and Food Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on the project entitled - "Understanding the Citrus Tristeza Virus Resistance Mechanisms in Citrus Species and Development of Disease-free Quality Planting Material of Khasi Mandarin (Citrus Reticulata Blanco) from North East India(CCK)". The candidate will receive a fellowship of up to INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 28 years of age
- Hold an M.Sc or M.Tech. degree in Genetics/Biotechnology, Agriculture/Botany and allied discipline with NET/GATE qualified
