About The Program
IIT Kharagpur Mechanical Engineering Department (ME) Senior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur to M.Tech./M.S. degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on the project entitled - "CFD Based Design of Mechanical Heart Valves(DHV)". The candidate will receive a fellowship of up to INR 35,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 32 years of age
- Hold an M.Tech./M.S. degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 75% or equivalent in all preceding exams
- Have experience in CFD code development and High-Performance Computing
- Have 2 years of research experience
Relevant Experience -
- Have exposure in Immersed Boundary Method based code development

The candidate will receive a fellowship of up to INR 35,000 per month depending upon qualification & experience.
