About The Program
IIT Kharagpur Department of Environmental Science and Engineering (DESE) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to postgraduate degree holders. The selected fellow is required to work on the project titled - "Stimuli-Responsive Artificial Leaves for Selective Solar Fuel Production(LSF)". The candidate will receive a fellowship of INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be below 28 years of age
- Hold an M.E./M.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, OR
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics/Materials Science/Chemistry (with a valid GATE/NET score or equivalent qualification)
- Have a minimum of 75% (or at least 8.00 on a 10-point scale) in aggregate in Secondary and Higher Secondary Education as well at the UG and PG level
Relevant Experience:
- The candidate is expected to be self-motivated for conducting quality research and publishing his/her work in high-impact scientific journals and conferences.
