IIT Kharagpur Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering Research Associateship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected candidate is required to work on a project entitled - "Development of Ultrahigh-Repetition-rate Soliton Light Sources based on High-quality Optical Waveguide Resonators(DRO)". The candidate will receive an associateship of up to INR 47,000.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not exceed 35 years of age
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in ECE/Physics/Optics/Photonics/Optoelectronics/Fiber-optics
- Have knowledge and experience in working with Optical Fibers (Nonlinear Domain), both theory and experiments
- Have knowledge of coding either in Matlab/C/C++/Python
