Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for IIT Kharagpur Centre of Mining Engineering Research Associateship 2021 from Ph.D. degree holders. The fellowship is meant for the project titled, "Development of Forest Health Monitoring Model Based on Hyperion Data for Geo-Environmental Impact Management in the Iron Ore Mining Belts of Saranda Forest, Jharkhand(FJR)". The candidate will receive a stipend of up to INR 47,000 per month.

- Be less than or up to 35 years of age
- Hold a Ph.D. degree
Relevant Experience-
- Have a minimum of five years of Postgraduate Research Experience
- Have knowledge of relevant software and practical experience of working in the mining field
