About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for the IIT Kharagpur Centre of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Junior/Senior Research Fellowship 2021 from B. Tech or M.Tech degree holders. The candidate is required to work on the project titled, "Technology Development and Demonstration for Stanag Level 3/4 Rated Composite Integral Armour for Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs)(TDN)". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 35,000 per month.

Junior Research Fellowship Qualifications:
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 28 years of age
- Hold a B.Tech degree with a valid GATE/NET score OR M.Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science/Ceramic Technology with min. CGPA of 7.5 or 70% marks in aggregate
Senior Research Fellowship Qualifications:
To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 32 years of age
- Have the same qualification as that of JRF with two years of research experience
Have knowledge of laser processing or additive manufacturing will be given preference.
