About The Program
IIT Kharagpur Centre of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2022 is a research opportunity offered to B.E./B.Tech. or M.Tech. or M.Sc. degree holders. The selected candidate are required to work on the project entitled - "Development of Polypyrrole Coated Mg Alloys for Degradable Fracture Fixation Devices (DFF)". The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of up to INR 31,000 depending upon qualification & experience.

To be eligible. an applicant must -
- Hold a B.E/B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science/Ceramic Technology/Biomedical Engineering with a valid GATE/NET score, OR
- Hold an M.Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science/Ceramic Technology with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 or 65% marks in aggregate, OR
- Hold an M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Science with a valid GATE/NET score
