About The Program
IIT Kharagpur Centre for Oceans, Rivers, Atmosphere and Land Sciences Senior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.Tech. and M.Tech. degree holders. The candidate is required to work on the project titled - "Ground and Remote Sensing-based Measurements of Leaf Area Index and Estimating Net Primary Productivity in Tropical Deciduous and Semi-evergreen Forests in India(GRA)". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 35,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 32 years of age
- Hold a B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering
- Have GATE/NET qualification
- Hold an M.Tech degree in Remote Sensing/GeoInformation with two years of research experience
