About The Program
Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur invites applications for IIT Kharagpur Centre for Oceans, Rivers, Atmosphere and Land Sciences Junior Research Fellowship 2020 from MSc/MTech degree holders. The fellows are required to work on the project titled, "Mapping Active Earth Movements along with Odisha and Bengal Coast by CORS-GPS, Seismological and MT-InSAR Observations(MGO)". The selected fellows will receive a stipend of up to INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Be less than or up to 32 years of age
- Hold an MSc (with valid GATE/NET score) or an MTech degree in Geophysics/ Physics/ Civil Engineering/ Geology/ Geoinformatics/ Earth System Science/ Remote Sensing or similar allied subjects
- Have experience in satellite data processing and geodetic methods
