About The Program
IIT Kharagpur Aerospace Engineering Department (AED) Junior Research Fellowship 2021 is a research opportunity offered to B.E./B. Tech. degree holders. The candidate is required to work on the project titled - "Development of an Unconventional Flapping-based Sediment-aeration System for the Brackish Water Aquaculture(UFB)". The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of up to INR 31,000 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Not be more than 28 years of age
- Hold a Bachelors in Technology or Bachelors in Engineering degree with one of the following specializations-
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Naval and Ocean Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Have qualified GATE and NET with a valid score
- Have strong knowledge in the area of Fluid and Structural Mechanics, Material Characterisation, Machine Design
Preferred Qualifications -
- Have software knowledge like Ansys Fluent, Abaqus, Solid Works
