IIT Kanpur National Centre for Geodesy Research Associateship 2022 is a fellowship opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. The selected fellows are required to work on a project entitled, "National Centre in Geodesy". The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 47,000 per month plus HRA as per Institute norms.

DeadlineClosed Eligibility To be eligible, an applicant must -
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in (Physics/Mathematics/EarthScience/Geoinformatics), OR
- Have three years of experience of research after M.Sc. degree (Mathematics/Physics/Earth Science) with at least one research paper in (SCI) journal OR
- Have three years of experience of research after M. Tech. degree (Civil/Computer Science/Electricals/Electronics/Mining/IT/Geoinformatics) with at least one research paper (in SCI) journal
Desirable Qualifications -
- Have prior research experience in the broad area of Geodetic science and should be familiar with the use of different Geodetic Instruments and Software
- Have good mathematical skills programming proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. MATLAB, C/C++, Python, FORTRAN)
Benefits The selected fellows will receive a consolidated salary of INR 47,000 per month plus HRA as per Institute norms.
